2015 ODAC Outdoor 110 Meter Hurdles Third Place
2015-16 (Indoor): He set a career best in the 60m dash with a time of 7.62s at the Liberty Kick Off meet, he also earned second place in the 60m hurdles at the Liberty Quad meet with a time of 8.77s. At the ODAC Championship meet he earned seventh place in the 60m hurdles.
2014-2015 (Indoor): In the 60m dash Forrest ran the fastest time of his career at Lynchburg at the 2015 Liberty Open where he crossed the line with a time of 7.72. He also ran a career fastest time in the 60m hurdles; he crossed the line at ODAC championship meet with a time of 8.62 which placed his fourth in the event. (Outdoor): Forrest continued to improve upon his times this season. In the ODAC championship meet he placed third in the 110 meter hurdles with a career best time of 15.73. In the 200 meter he ran a career best of 24.13 at the Jack Toms invitational.
2013-2014 (Indoor): Ran his career best in the 55m at the Lynchburg Sprint, Jump, Throw Challenge where he crossed the line with a time of 7.15... Also posted a career best in the 55m Hurdles at the same meet where he finished with a time of 8.39. (Outdoor): Only competed in a select number of events during his second spring…set a new best in the 200 meter dash at the Dr. Harry Jopson Track and Field Invite, stopping the clock at 25.14…lowered his career best in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.89 at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Open.
2012-13 (Indoor): Had career bests in the 55m with a time of 7.38 seconds at the Lynchburg Sprints, Jumps, Throws Challenger Part II and in the 60m with a time of 7.88 seconds at the Liberty Quad… also recorded career bests in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.60 seconds at the Marietta Alumni Open and in 60 meter hurdles, running a time of 9.12 seconds at the Liberty Quad… had a PR in the high jump with a height of 5’4.8’’ at the Lynchburg Sprints, Jumps,Throws Challenge Part II. (Outdoor): Achieved career bests in the 100m at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Open with a time of 12.55 seconds and in the 200m with a time of 25.75 seconds at the VA Commonwealth Duals at LC… also set a PR of 16.45 seconds in the 110 meter hurdles at the ODAC Championship.
Before LC: Was a member of the Amherst County High School Lancers track and field program for four years.
Personal: Son of Fabian and Melissa Poindexter…has one brother…also played football in high school.
