LC Box Score
LEXINGTON, VA - The Lynchburg College men's tennis team ended its 2010 season with a 5-0 loss to the Generals of Washington & Lee University Friday in the first round of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament, hosted by W&L.
The Generals (13-7) swept the doubles play over LC (4-10), though Brandon Hall (Sterling, VA/Dominion) and Kristian Richardson (Trenton, VA/Princeton School of Huns) battled at their No. 1 spot. The pair pushed the match to 6-6, but ended up falling by a score of 8-6.
The match was played to decision, as the Generals won at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles to seal the deal. The rest of the matches were called after W&L clinched the amount necessary for victory.
The Hornets bid farewell to seniors Nick Carroll (Atlanta, VA/Holy Innocents) and Richardson, who played in their final collegiate match with LC today.
