 LYNCHBURG, VA- Juniors Ben Sauer (Richmond, VA/Collegiate School) and Andrew Wilfong (Columbus, OH/Worthington Kilbourne) scored three times Wednesday night as the Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team posted a 10-1 victory over Marywood University in non-conference play. Dylan Hoff (Chester Springs, PA/Downingtown East) found the back of the net twice for the Hornets.

Senior Eddie Bilinkas (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) and junior Chase Loetz (Arnold, MD/Severn) each had a goal apiece. William Roerden scored once in the third period for the Pacers (2-1).

Lynchburg face-off man Jeff Schwartz (New City, NY/The Tabor Academy) won eight of his 12 face-offs attempts and added seven groundballs. Franc Cook (Milton, DE/Cape Henlopen) made five saves in 56 minutes in the net. The Hornets out-shot their guests 34-18 and held a 38-26 advantage in ground balls. Pacer goalie Jesse Habich made 13 saves.

             The Hornets (2-1) travel to Cabrini College for another non-conference game on Saturday at noon.
