LC Men's Tennis Drops Close Match to Randolph College 5-4

LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College men's tennis team faced off against Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) rival Randolph College on Friday and lost 5-4 in a tight match.
Sophomore Matt Karvelas teamed up with junior Derek Kegerreis for an 8-2 win at #1 doubles while junior Cody Crampton and Casey Vines sealed an 8-2 win at #2 doubles.
Karvelas also won at #1 singles with a score of 6-1, 6-1 and Kegerreis notched a 6-0, 6-2 win at #2 singles.
The Hornet men (0-2) will not be in action until Wednesday, March 14 when they will face off in a non-conference bout against Shenandoah University at home.
