LC Men's Tennis Swings Past Ferrum College 6-3

FERRUM, VA – The Lynchburg College men's tennis team traveled to Ferrum College on Wednesday and won 6-3 in a non-conference matchup.

Sophomore Matt Karvelas teamed up with junior Owen Landon to win 8-3 at #2 doubles, while freshman Casey Vines and sophomore Hyun Suk Lee won 8-6 at #3 doubles.

Karvelas also was successful at #1 singles, winning 6-1, 6-4. Junior Derek Kegerreis competed at #2 singles and won 6-3, 6-2 and junior Cody Crampton took #3 singles 6-1, 6-2. Vines won 6-0, 6-3 at #6 singles.

The Hornet men (3-6) will be back in action on Sunday, Mar. 25 when they will face off against Emory & Henry at home at 2 p.m. in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) matchup.
