WINCHESTER, VA – The Lynchburg College men's tennis team fought hard in several key spots in the ladder, but ultimately fell to Shenandoah University 9-0 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action Saturday afternoon.

Andrew Link continued his strong play in the first set at No. 3 singles, downing Jesse Ewing 6-0 before falling in a hard-fought 7-5 second set. Ewing pulled away for a 6-1 victory in the third and final set over the Lynchburg captain.

Will Nsoesie captured six games at No. 6 singles, taking Kelly Sykes all the way to a 7-5 decision in the second and deciding set. Jordan Falinski and Link had a great chance at a point at No. 2 doubles, dropping the decision 8-6.

Lynchburg (0-9/0-7 ODAC) faces Roanoke College Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in a rare night match held at Hollins University.
