Men's tennis knocked off by Washington and Lee

Lynchburg, Va. -- The Lynchburg College men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss at the hands of defending Old Dominion Athletic Conference champion Washington and Lee Friday afternoon at the LC Tennis Courts.

No. 1 doubles team Will Nsoesie (Boonsboro, Md.) and Luke Sablik (Vienna, Va.) came the closest to a doubles points for the Hornets, battling to an 8-6 loss.

At No. 1 singles, sophomore Juan Borga (Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA) played to a first-set tiebreaker against WLU's Harry Shepherd but wound up falling, 7-5, 6-2.

The loss was the first time Lynchburg has been swept since March 11, 2017.
