Men's tennis falls at Hampden-Sydney

Hampden Sydney, Va. -- University of Lynchburg's men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 loss to rival Hampden-Sydney Sunday afternoon in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play.

The Hornets picked up their lone point in doubles play as senior Colton Mullins (Appomattox, Va.) and freshman Christopher Broadwell (Chapel Hill, N.C.) won an 8-6 decision at the No. 3 flight.

The Tigers swept singles play.

Lynchburg's team (4-5, 1-2 ODAC) will be back in action Thursday, March 28 at home versus Bridgewater. The Hornets' 3 p.m. match will be their CODE RED contest, encouraging all Lynchburg student-athletes to come out and support the team.
