Hilton Head Island, S.C. -- The University of Lynchburg men's tennis team cruised past Oswego 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Hornets only dropped one game across the 25 played in doubles action. Alex Rintoul and Levi Vigdorchik blanked their opponents on the first court, Dan Hardy and Shadi Kallel won 8-1 at No. 2, and Christian Zepeda and Patricio Zepeda swept their opponents at No. 3.
In singles action, Kallel slotted up to the top flight and blanked his opponent for his first at No. 1. Sierra also won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3. Hardy and Rintoul won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 and No. 4, respectively, Christian Zepeda won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 5, and Patricio Zepeda only dropped one game in his No. 6-singles victory.
The Hornets are 40-2 across singles and doubles in their five wins this season. The Hornets (5-1) wrap up their spring break trip on Thursday against Stevenson in South Carolina.
