Kansas City, Mo. -- The University of Lynchburg men's soccer team had three student-athletes appointed as All-Americans for Division III, announced by United Soccer Coaches organization on Thursday afternoon.
With three total All-American selections spanning across the first and second teams, the men's soccer program has the most All-American selections in one season in program history.
Benjamin Velasquez and
Thomas Viscuso both were first team honorees, while
Keaton Napior was named to the second team.Â
Velasquez earns his second consecutive All-American accolade after being named to the second team last season. He was a leader of one of the nation's most effective defensive units in 2025, helping his team achieve the eighth-best goals against average in the country at .522 per game and the 13th-best shutout percentage across DIII at .565 per affair. Throughout his collegiate career, the Dale City, Va. native has been named an All-American twice, an All-Region member three times, and the ODAC Defensive Player of the Year for three straight seasons.

The senior goalkeeper posted a .56 goals-against average, tying the second-best single-season mark in program history. Over his four-year career, Viscuso averaged just 0.67 goals per game and ranks second in Lynchburg's record book in career goals-against average. Viscuso has earned a spot on two All-Region teams and three All-ODAC teams throughout his collegiate career.
Napior receives his All-American honor following his best season in a Lynchburg uniform. He recorded five goals and two assists to earn his first All-Region recognition, which was announced just days ago. The Hill City native consistently rose to the moment in the team's biggest games. In the ODAC Championship, with the Hornets trailing WLU 1-0, he scored twice to spark a comeback victory and secure the conference crown. He added another crucial goal in Lynchburg's 2-1 win over Christopher Newport in the NCAA second round. Beyond his offensive impact, Napior contributed across the entire pitch, finishing the year with the fifth-most minutes on the roster.
