Washington, D.C. --The Lynchburg men's volleyball team took down Neumann and Gallaudet in 3-0 sweeps.
In the first match of the afternoon, Lynchburg squared off against Gallaudet. The Hornets won the three sets: 25-16. 25-16, and 25-13.
Nick Redding finished with a team-high 10 kills to go along with two aces. Jeremiah Costello contributed nine kills, five blocks, and ten digs. Stefan Kapitanov recorded six blocks and an ace as well.
As a group, Lynchburg had their second-highest attacking percentage in a game this season, .351. In tandem, the Hornets tied for their fewest errors this season with 11. Defensively, Lynchburg tallied a season-best 10 total blocks.
In their second game of the afternoon, Lynchburg took the floor with Neumann. Lynchburg won the three sets: 25-13, 26-24, and 25-20.
Nick Redding once again led the team in kills and aces, totaling 10 and three respectively. Jeremiah Costello had a phenomenal all-around game with eight kills, two aces, three blocks, and 16 digs. Bryce Jackson added eight kills and four blocks.
