Kansas City, Mo. -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced on Thursday that five University of Lynchburg men's basketball performers earned NABC Honors Court Awards:
Elijah Thomas,
Jayson Easton,
Jonathan Foust,
Mason Makovec, and
Piercen Young.
The NABC Honors Court represents men's basketball student-athletes that are juniors-or-above academically and finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2-or-better. The NABC academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball to honor their efforts on the court and in the classroom.
"Education is one of the NABC's five core values, and we are proud to recognize the academic accomplishments of these programs and individual student-athletes across our sport," said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. "The dedication and hard work of these athletes, along with their coaches and support staff members who prioritize academic success, deserves to be widely celebrated."
This year, more than 2,400 student-athletes earned a spot on the NABC Honors Court. To view a full list of Honors Court recipients,
