Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Hilton Head Island, S.C. -- On the second day of the Spring Tennis Fest, University of Lynchburg's men's and women's tennis teams defeated Lebanon Valley on Monday afternoon.

The women's team earned a hard fought 4-3 win while the men's team swept LV, 7-0. In the women's match, Lynchburg secured the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2. Kayla Kosiorek and Isadora Lima claimed a 6-1 victory, while Giovana Gaboardi and Ashley Hair added a 6-2 decision. Lebanon Valley took the No. 3 doubles match 6-1.

Singles play proved decisive. Isadora Lima earned a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 1, and Ashley Hair followed with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 4. Harper Dodd secured the clinching point at No. 6, winning 6-2, 3-6, 10-8 in a third-set tiebreak. Lebanon Valley claimed wins at No. 2 in a three-set tiebreak, at No. 3 in straight sets, and at No. 5 in straight sets, but Lynchburg held on for the 4-3 result.

The men's team delivered a dominant performance, sweeping doubles and singles for a 7-0 victory. Patricio Zepeda and Ricards Spaks won 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, Daniel Gomes and Nicholas Pierreux earned a 6-0 decision at No. 2, and Alexandre Gaboardi and Alvaro Quiroga Amaya secured a 6-2 win at No. 3.

In singles, Ricards Spaks won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1, while Nicholas Pierreux battled to a three-set 10-3 tiebreak victory at No. 2. Alexandre Gaboardi, Alvaro Quiroga Amaya, Sebastian Sierra, and Daniel Gomes each posted straight-set wins to complete the sweep.

The men's group returns to action on Wednesday, March 4 at 1 p.m. against Saint Francis, then both the men's and women's squads will face Gordon for Lynchburg's final competitions of the Spring Tennis Fest at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 5.
