Forest, Va. -- University of Lynchburg men's tennis duo Ricards Spaks and Jorge Patricio Zepeda were named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Doubles Pair of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday.

This past weekend, the Lynchburg men's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a quality win over Hampden-Sydney, 5-2. Spaks and Zepeda teamed up in the number one spot of the doubles event and defeated the pairing of Thomas Davis and Dillon McReynolds, 6-2, to help the squad earn the doubles point. This is the third occasion this season that the doubles pair of Spaks and Zepeda have been selected for this award.

With the team win, the Hornets secured the sixth seed in the ODAC postseason tournament. Lynchburg will square off against third-seeded Averett in Danville, Va. on Tuesday, April 28 at 2 p.m.
