Lynchburg, Va. – The University of Lynchburg outdoor track & field teams will host their Code Red and Senior Day festivities at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic on Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11 at Dr. Jack M. Toms Track.
The event also features a tribute to the late Frank Csorba on Friday night, including a memorial walk at 7:00 p.m. The invitational mile and 5,000-meter sections are named in Frank's honor, beginning at 7:10 p.m.
Dennis Craddock marks the second of four home meets for the Hornets during the outdoor campaign. With two weeks until the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships, the Hornets currently boast 10 marks from eight athletes that would qualify for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships if the season ended today.
Facility
Dr. Jack M. Toms Track features eight lanes surrounding Shellenberger Field, while horizontal and vertical jumping events will take place in the D-zones of the track. Throwing events will take place at Moon Field, situated at the campus's entrance.
Schedule
On Friday, the meet kicks off with the women's hammer throw at 11:00 a.m., while track events commence at 5:00 p.m. with the women's 1,500-meter run.
Saturday's opening events feature the men's discus at 10:00 a.m. and the women's 4x100-meter relay at 11:30 a.m. Seniors will be recognized at the Senior Day celebration on Shellenberger Field at 11:50 a.m.
Weather
Forecasts predict picturesque conditions for the weekend in Central Virginia, with high temperatures climbing to 80 degrees under sunny skies for both days of competition. On Friday night, temperatures are expected to remain in the 70s with minimal wind.

Following last weekend's performances at the VertKlasse Meeting, hosted by High Point University, Lamont Victoria and Jamarcus Brown each cleared the 7' 1" (2.16m) bar to clinch the top mark in Division III. Both athletes qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships, while Victoria finished second in the field.

Victoria owns the second-fastest time in the 100-meter dash, following a wind-assisted 10.25 performance at High Point. The senior's time marks the fastest all-conditions split in program history.

Chasen Hunt's 14:00.58 performance in the men's 5,000-meter run at the Stanford Invitational sits third in DIII behind Isaac vanWestrienen (Cornell) and Aidan Matthai (Wisconsin-La Crosse). Hunt also occupies fifth in the men's 1,500-meter run after posting 3:47.40 at the Raleigh Relays.
