Box Score Hornet's Women Lacrosse falls to Yellow Jackets 15-10
Ashland, VA – The Lynchburg College women's lacrosse team lost to Randolph-Macon College 15-10 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play Wednesday night.
Randolph-Macon scored the first goal of the game, but LC scored the next two to take an early 2-1 advantage. The teams continued to trade goals throughout the first half and Randolph-Macon took a one-goal lead into halftime.
R-MC started out the second half strong scoring three unanswered goals. The Hornets came back strong, making it 11-10 with just 10 minutes remaining in the game but the Yellow Jackets went on a 4-0 run to end the game.
Alicia Hsieh had five goals and one assist for the Yellow Jackets (9-3/5-1 ODAC) and Janelle Whitman had four goals. Alex Lightfoot contributed four assists and one goal.
Lynchburg (6-6/4-3 ODAC) travels to Randolph College for a crosstown showdown on Saturday at 1 p.m.
