SPARKS, Md. —The University of Lynchburg women's lacrosse senior Neely Morris was named an All-American Honorable Mention by USA Lacrosse Magazine.

Morris adds the national recognition to a decorated senior season after earning All-ODAC First Team honors earlier this spring. The Kitty Hawk, N.C., product served as one of Lynchburg's most consistent offensive contributors, finishing second on the team with 45 points while leading the Hornets with 21 assists.

Morris tallied at least one assist in all but three contests this season, including six multi-assist outings. She posted five points twice on the year, scoring five goals against Shenandoah on April 12 and adding two goals with three assists against Sweet Briar on Feb. 25.

Her ability to impact the attack as both a scorer and distributor helped guide one of the top offenses in the conference. Morris closed her senior campaign as one of Lynchburg's most reliable offensive threats, earning national recognition for her production throughout the season.
