NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. -- The University of Lynchburg women's lacrosse team earned two All-Region selections, announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) this afternoon.

Senior attackers Neely Morris and McKenna Steinau both received the first All-Region honors of their Lynchburg careers after leading the Hornets' offense throughout the 2026 campaign. The pair also earned All-ODAC First Team selections earlier this spring.

Morris adds the accolade to a decorated senior season after serving as one of Lynchburg's most consistent offensive facilitators. She earns this honor days after being named a USA Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mention.

The Kitty Hawk, N.C., product finished second on the team with 45 points while leading the Hornets with 21 assists. Morris tallied at least one assist in all but three contests, including six multi-assist outings. Morris posted five points twice this season, scoring five goals against Shenandoah on April 12 and adding two goals with three assists against Sweet Briar on Feb. 25. Her ability to create offense both as a scorer and distributor helped anchor one of the top attacks in the ODAC.

Steinau, a fellow All-ODAC First Team selection, also received her first All-Region honor after leading Lynchburg in scoring. The senior attacker finished the season with a team-best 52 goals and 62 points, pacing the Hornets' offense throughout the year.

The Annapolis, Md., native finished in the top 10 in the ODAC in both goals per game, ranking fourth, and points per game, ranking seventh. Steinau's production placed her among the conference's top offensive threats and helped lead a balanced Lynchburg attack.

The All-Region honors mark another postseason recognition for the Hornets following a strong 2026 campaign, with Morris and Steinau closing their senior seasons among the top players in the region.
