Clearwater, Fla. -- University of Lynchburg's women's lacrosse team dropped a 19-7 decision to Meredith Thursday in their Spring Break finale at the Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex.

The Avenging Angels (7-2) took a 10-4 lead at halftime and cruised to the victory.

Lynchburg (3-3) got a hat trick from senior midfielder Hannah Creasey (Virginia Beach, Va.), who also caused two turnovers.

Junior attackman Carly Sandler (Kennebunk, Maine) dished out three assists, and senior defender Allie O'Leary (Salisbury, Md.) totaled six draw controls, four ground balls, and three caused turnovers.

Lynchburg will hit the road again, Wednesday, March 27 for a non-conference game at Christopher Newport.
