Box Score Lynchburg, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg women's lacrosse team rolled to a 16-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference win Wednesday evening at crosstown rival Randolph.
Senior attackman Alicia Sandoval (Montclair, Va.) powered the Hornet offense with three goals and four assists, while junior attackman Kelsi Trevisan (West Chester, Pa.) added two goals and two assists.
Junior defender Erin Gardner (Stewartsville, N.J.) scooped up five ground balls to go with two caused turnovers.
It was the second shutout of the season for the Lynchburg defense.

Lynchburg took an early 4-0 lead as Sandoval scored twice and assisted Trevisan's first goal and senior midfielder Hannah Creasey's (Virginia Beach, Va.) first in the opening 3 minutes.

The Hornets pushed the lead to 14-0 at halftime. Sophomore attackman Brigid Gavin (Stafford, Va.) notched her first-career multi-goal game with the half's final two goals.

Lynchburg scored twice more in the second half to bring the score to its final standing.
