Box Score Bridgewater, Va. -- University of Lynchburg's women's lacrosse team started quickly and kept the pressure on Saturday on its way to a 17-8 throttling of Bridgewater in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play.
Senior attackman Alicia Sandoval (Montclair, Va.) and junior attackman Kelsi Trevisan (West Chester, Pa.) each scored four goals and made three assists for Lynchburg.
Junior attackman Danielle Hook (Alexandria, Va.) and senior attackman Kelsey Nock (Salisbury, Md.) each notched a hat trick.
Senior defender Allie O'Leary (Salisbury, Md.) snagged nine draw controls and caused three turnovers.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Lynchburg took an early 2-0 lead as Trevisan and senior midfielder Hannah Creasey (Virginia Beach, Va.) scored, but the Eagles fought back to tie the game at 2 in the first 10 minutes.

The Hornets responded with a 9-1 run in the remainder of the first half to take control of the game. Sandoval and Trevisan each scored a first-half hat trick.

Hook began the scoring in the second half as Lynchburg outscored BC, 6-5, in the second 30 minutes.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Hornets will return home Wednesday, April 24 for the final home contest of 2019 against Virginia Wesleyan. First draw on Shellenberger Field is scheduled for 5 p.m.
