Box Score Lexington, Va. -- University of Lynchburg's women's lacrosse season came to an end Friday with an 18-8 loss at the hands of No. 2-ranked Washington and Lee in the semifinal round of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament.
Kelsi Trevisan scored four times for the Hornets, and Nicki Santora added a hat trick for Lynchburg.
W&L jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the first 10-plus minutes, but Lynchburg rallied with goals by Trevisan and Santora to cut the deficit to 5-3. The Generals then finished the first half on an 8-1 run to take control with a 13-4 advantage at half.
W&L held a 21-7 advantage on draw controls and out-shot the Hornets, 31-17.
Leah Dumas added a goal for Lynchburg, while Dara Gregory and Tori King each dished out assists.
Lynchburg finishes the season with a 10-6 record and posted a 5-3 mark in ODAC play.
