With the scored tied, 9-9, early in the first half, the Bluejays went on an 18-2 run over the next 8 minutes to take control of the game. They never looked back, leading 41-26 at halftime. Lynchburg won the second half by a 47-46 count but never could seriously threaten the lead.
Founded in 2013 by former Duke standout and ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas and former assistant coach John Searby, the Jay Bilas Skills Camp is one of the few "old school skills camps" left in the country. Focusing on player development at a collegiate level with collegiate coaches on a college campus, the Jay Bilas Skills Camp provides intensive basketball instruction for players, assistant coaches, and aspiring head coaches by bringing some of the best minds in basketball together for an immersive on-campus experience. The inaugural Bilas Classic at Queens University featured four top NCAA Division III teams whose coaches participate in the camp each summer.
Lynchburg (4-7) will break for the holidays before ringing in the new year with a 2 p.m. home game January 1 against William Peace.
