SU tied the game in the early going of the second, but Sullivan scored on a free-position shot to put Lynchburg back in front. The Hornets led 8-6 at halftime after scores from King and Santora.
The Hornets clung onto a 10-9 lead heading to the fourth, but Shenandoah sparked another run to start the final quarter, scoring three unanswered goals for a 12-10 lead before a Lynchburg timeout.
Santora scored with 8:11 to go to cut the deficit to 12-11, but that's as close as the home team got. SU scored three more unanswered goals to bring the score to 15-11 and secure the key Old Dominion Athletic Conference win.
