Rome, Ga. -- The University of Lynchburg beach volleyball team fell against East Texas Baptist University Saturday afternoon.
Every court went three sets in the narrow defeat for Lynchburg 3-2 against the Tigers.
Mady Shirey and Amanda Trapp continued their winning weekend with a victory at No. 2. They won the third set in a marathon 22-20. Parker Lynch and Molly Ballew won 21-17, 19-21, 15-13.
Mackenzie Ingrassia and Margo Fox won their first set but lost the next two 12-21, 8-15. Landon Spotts and Ali Simon lost the first set, battled back for a 21-18 win in the second, but lost the decisive-third set. Kailey Keough and Jordan Palmer lost 16-21, 21-18, 9-15.
The Hornets (7-12) host their next set of matches beginning with Stevenson on Saturday, April 1.
