Laurinburg, N.C. -- The University of Lynchburg beach volleyball team took down Bob Jones 4-1 Saturday afternoon.
Lynchburg also fell to St. Andrew's for the second-straight day.
Against Bob Jones, Kailey Keough and Jordan Palmer won 21-9, 21-18 at the top flight. SJ Yanz and Mady Shirey won close matches at No. 2, Margo Fox and Amanda Trapp won handily at No. 3, and Molly Ballew and Landon Spotts won 21-11, 21-18 at No. 5.
Ballew and Spotts picked up a point against St. Andrew's 22-20, 21-17. Keough and Palmer also took down their opponents from St. Andrew's at No. 1, but the Hornets fell 3-2 overall to the host school.
Lynchburg (4-8) heads to Texas for four matches beginning Friday, March 17.
