Hilton Head Island, S.C. -- The University of Lynchburg women's tennis team fell 9-0 against Saint Mary's (Ind.) on Wednesday morning.
In doubles play, the Hornets dropped all three matches. It was Ashley Hair and Emma Pinola teaming up at No. 1, Reese McAtee and Jordan Ottaviano played together at No. 2, and Sarah Wood and Elizabeth Horine competed together at No. 3
In singles action, Hair fell at the first flight. Pinola dropped both sets at No. 2, and McAtee fell at No. 3. Ottaviano played at the fourth flight but fell 2-6, 1-6, Horine fell 1-6, 1-6 at No. 5, and Wood dropped her match at No. 6.
The Hornets (2-5) take on Stevenson on Thursday, March 14 for their final match over spring break.
