Forest, Va. -- For the second time this season, the University of Lynchburg equestrian team swept the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Rider of the Week awards, announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.
The Hornets had
Amaya Bellfield and
Abigail Devlin earn the Fences and Flat Riders of the Week honors, respectively. The Longmont, Colo. rode to a personal-best 88.5 in fences on Zehn to notch the MOP.
Devlin snags her third ODAC Rider of the Week award this season following her MOP performance in flat against SBC. The Newburyport, Mass. product matched Bellfield's score from fences with an 88.5 riding Ollie to beat out her opponent by 9.0 points.
Lynchburg's NCEA crew is ready for its final competition of the fall 2025 slate when Sewanee comes to the Lynchburg Equestrian Center in Rustburg, Va. on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 11 a.m.
