Lynchburg Lax Welcomes Ferrum

Lynchburg, Va. -- The Lynchburg women's lacrosse team welcomes the Ferrum Panthers for a conference matchup this Tuesday, March 18, at 5 p.m.

The Hornets have claimed the previous four games between the two programs, including a 17-3 victory last season.

Ferrum (2-3) currently sports a two-game losing skid, falling to Bridgewater 21-1 in their most recent outing. In their only other ODAC game of the season, the Panthers fell to Washington & Lee 0-19.

Sophomore attack Micaiyah Dickerson and junior midfielder Ashtyn Bishop lead the Panthers in points this season, each with 13. Bishop has been the leading distributor this season, dishing out seven assists. As a group, the Panthers assist their goals over 55% of the time.

The Hornets (5-2) come into this contest after back-to-back games on the road in Lake Wales, Fla. Lynchburg currently sports a three-game win streak, outscoring their opponents 60-6 over that stretch.

Sydney Dumas (19), McKenna Steinau (15), and Neely Morris (13) have all notched double-digit goals this season as the Lynchburg offense has been explosive. Reagan Bradley has proven to be an effective orchestrator, recording five assists in the past two games and leading the team with seven.

Following this affair, Lynchburg continues ODAC play with a matchup against Randolph-Macon on Saturday, March 22.
