Lynchburg, Va. -- The Lynchburg beach volleyball team is set to travel to Wingate, N.C. this weekend for three matchups between Salem, Jacksonville State, and Wingate.
The Hornets (4-4) are looking to bounce back from a current two game skid. They look to do so against the Salem Spirits (2-1). This will be the first time The Hornets and Spirits have faced off in program history.
The Hornet's will next play on the following day against Jacksonville State (0-2) and Wingate (5-13) to finish their weekend series.
Lynchburg's first matchup on Saturday will be against Jacksonville State at 9 am. This marks the first time the Hornets have ever faced off against the Gamecocks.
The Hornets conclude their weekend against the host school, the Wingate Bulldogs. Wingate will continue their first year as a program against Lynchburg.
This is a jam packed weekend of volleyball that kicks off against the Salem Spirits on Friday, March 21, at 3 p.m. Following this weekend, the Hornets will host numerous schools on the home courts from Friday, March 28 through Saturday, March 29.
