Lynchburg, Va. — The Lynchburg beach volleyball team opened its final weekend of regular-season play with a pair of strong performances, earning wins over Lancaster Bible and Stevenson on Saturday.
The Hornets (11–10) first squared off with Stevenson (13–8) in a tightly contested match. Each pairing battled through competitive sets, but Lynchburg ultimately came out on top with a 3–2 victory. The duos of Amanda Trapp and SJ Yanz, Kailey Keough and Mady Shirey, and Jordan Palmer and Sydney Phillips earned crucial wins to clinch the match for the Hornets.

It was a complete team performance, with every duo contributing to the 5–0 sweep.
Lynchburg now improves to 13–10 on the season heading into the final day of regular-season action. The Hornets are set to take on Southern Virginia and Stevenson once again on Sunday as they look to carry momentum into the postseason.
