Lynchburg, Va. – The Lynchburg beach volleyball team traveled to Winston-Salem to take on the Salem Spirits.
The Hornets got the better of the Spirits as they won 3-2.
The Lynchburg duos of Amanda Trapp/SJ Yanz, Mady Shirey/Kailey Keough, and Sydney Phillips/Jordan Palmer won their matches against the Spirits.
There was also an extra match where Deanna Disinger/Myranda Cummings took the win.
The Hornets' next travel to Conway, S.C., for a four-game away stand at Coastal Carolina University.
