Forest, Va. —The University of Lynchburg women's lacrosse team earned multiple accolades on the 2025 All-ODAC teams, headlined by three Hornets on the First Team and two more on the Second Team.
Attack Sydney Dumas, midfielder Neely Morris, and defender Meredith Bornholdt secured First Team honors, representing Lynchburg across all areas of the field.
Sophomore Mya Hausauer and junior McKenna Steinau were named to the All-ODAC Second Team, rounding out a strong postseason showing for the program.
Dumas earns her first career First Team selection after back-to-back Second Team nods. The junior led the Hornets with 57 goals—third-most in the ODAC—averaging a hat trick per game.
Joining her among the conference's top scorers is Morris, who netted 47 goals and added a team-high 22 assists. The junior midfielder proved to be a key playmaker for the Hornets, collecting the sixth most points in the ODAC.
Bornholdt, the defensive anchor for Lynchburg, picked up her third consecutive All-ODAC honor and second straight First Team recognition. The Cincinnati, Ohio native ranked top-five in the conference with 31 caused turnovers and 52 ground balls.
Hausauer makes her All-Conference debut following a breakout sophomore campaign. She tallied 32 goals and 15 assists—both fourth-most on the team—and added 56 draw controls, just one behind the leader, Morris.
Steinau also makes her first All-ODAC appearance after an impressive junior season. The Annapolis, Md. native racked up 46 goals and 16 assists to help lead Lynchburg's attack.
