Morris & Dumas Awarded VaSID All-State Honors

Harrisonburg, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg women's lacrosse team earned two Second Team VaSID All-State selections, represented by Sydney Dumas and Neely Morris.

Dumas, the junior attack from Kennebunk, Maine, led the Hornets with 57 goals—third-most in the ODAC—and averaged a hat trick per game. She earned her first All-ODAC First Team honor this season, along with her debut appearance on the VaSID All-Region team.

Morris joins Dumas on the Second Team All-State list after also earning a spot on the All-ODAC First Team. The junior midfielder scored 47 goals and dished out a team-high 22 assists, totaling the sixth-most points in the conference.

Together, Dumas and Morris accounted for 23% of Lynchburg's total points during the 2025 campaign, solidifying themselves as one of the most dynamic offensive duos in the region.
