Forest, Va. -- University of Lynchburg men's lacrosse attackman
Riley Hastings was tabbed as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday.
Following an incredible 21-point week at the 2026 Callum Robinson Mustang Classic, Hastings earns his second conference player of the week accolade. The senior set the Lynchburg program record for points in a game with 13 against No. 2/2 Christopher Newport. His 8 goals against the Captains tied for second-most in a game in program history. He followed up with eight points the next day against No. 9/8 Gettysburg with five goals and three assists.
On the season, the Alpharetta, Ga. native paces the Hornets offensively with 37 points. He is ninth in the nation for DIII and first in the ODAC for points per game, averaging 6.17 per contest. The attackman also ranks atop the conference in goals per game with 4.00 and assists per game with 2.17. His goal per game mark is ranked 19 across division III and he is top-50 in the country in assists per outing.
The men's lacrosse team prepares for its first ODAC contest of the season at Averett on Wenesday, March 18 at 7 p.m.
