SWEET BRIAR, VA – The Sweet Briar College women's tennis team defeated Lynchburg College 8-1 Friday afternoon in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) matchup.

The Vixens swept the three doubles matches and won five of the six singles contests. Hornet sophomore Jeannine Malay (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) posted the LC win, a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Nicole Lee at #6 singles.

The Hornets (0-4/0-3 ODAC) are back in action at home Monday against Randolph-Macon College at 3:30 p.m. in more ODAC action.
