            LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College women's tennis team lost 5-4 against Randolph-Macon College in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) matchup on Thursday.

            Sophomore Susanna Jones (North, VA/Matthews) won 2-6, 6-2, 6-0 at #2 singles and also had an 8-2 win at #3 doubles, teaming with sophomore Jeannine Malay (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool). Freshman Casey Moore (Salem, VA/Glenvar) had a 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) victory at #4 singles while also winning at #1 doubles 8-5 with senior teammate Clare Wallendjack (Kensington, MD/Walter Johnson).

            The Hornet women (0-4, 0-4) will be back in action to face ODAC opponent Hollins at home on Friday at 3 p.m.
