The Hornet Women Drop One at Emory and Henry

EMORY, VA – The Lynchburg College women's tennis team faced off against Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) opponent Emory and Henry on Sunday and lost the match 6-3.

Junior Gretel Coleman (Bedford, NY/The Harvey School) teamed up with Hailey Bettencourt to win 8-3 at #3 doubles. Freshman Casey Moore (Salem, VA/Glenvar)  won 6-0, 6-2 at #3 singles, while sophomore Jeannine Malay (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) won 5-7, 6-0, 10-5 at #5 singles.

The LC women (2-6/1-6 ODAC) will be back in action on Saturday, April 2 at 2 p.m. when they will travel to face Virginia Wesleyan College in another ODAC match.
