LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College women's tennis team took two singles matches but Hollins University scored a 7-2 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) victory Friday afternoon on the LC Courts.

Hornet freshman Casey Moore (Salem, VA/Glenvar) defeated Trudy Siziba 6-2, 6-0 at #4 singles, and Hailey Bettencourt earned a hard-fought 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-1) victory at #6 singles.

Hollins swept the three doubles matches to start off the competition.

The Hornets (0-5/0-5 ODAC) are off for Spring Break but return to action Wednesday, March 16 at home against Randolph College.
