Virginia Wesleyan defeats LC Women 7-2

HAMPTON ROADS, VA – The Lynchburg College women's tennis team traveled to Virginia Wesleyan College on Saturday for an Old Dominion Athletic Conference matchup and lost 7-2.

 Sophomores Jeannine Malay (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) and Susanna Jones (North, VA/Matthews) teamed up to win 9-7 at #2 doubles and Hailey Bettencourt captured a 6-1, 6-2 win at #6 singles.

 The Hornet women (2-7/1-7 ODAC) will be at home for their next match against ODAC opponent Roanoke College on Wednesday, April 6 at 4 p.m.
