LC Women Fall 5-0 to Ferrum

The Lynchburg College women's tennis team struggled against Ferrum College, falling to the Panthers 5-0.

The doubles teams kept the match close as junior Betsy Stipa and sophomore Melissa Drinkard dropped #1 doubles 8-4. junior Kelsey Bergen and freshman Alise Shurly stayed within a break, falling 8-6.

Stipa was leading her singles match 6-5, 2-1 when the match was called.

Drinkard and junior Ari Peikin each won four games in singles play.
