LC Women's Tennis Drop 9-0 Match to Bridgewater

LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College women's tennis team faced off against Bridgewater College at home on Tuesday in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play and lost 9-0. 

Juniors Hailey Bettencourt and Madison Dixon were able to collect three games at #3 singles, while junior Melissa Drinkard and senior Betsy Stipa notched two games at #1 doubles. 

Drinkard won two games at #1 singles and Carter Vaughn recorded two wins at #3 singles. Bettencourt also competed at #6 singles and took three games overall. 

The Hornets (2-8/1-7 ODAC) will travel to take on Roanoke College on Thursday at 3 p.m. in another ODAC matchup.
