ASHLAND, VA – Katie Kline had a hard fought sixth singles match, as the Lynchburg College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 match to Randolph-Macon College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action on Thursday.

Kline went toe to toe with R-MC sixth single Hannah Trueblood in the first set.  Kline took three games before being overtaken by Trueblood, who then won the second set and the match.

Jerica Simmons also won several games in her singles match, playing at the four spot, until she too lost in the second set to her Yellow Jacket (12-1 overall, 8-0 ODAC) counterpart.

LC (0-12, 0-9) will head across town on Friday for an ODAC matchup against Randolph College (8-4, 5-2).  Doubles matches will begin at 3 p.m.
