Hornet Women's Tennis Falls 6-3 to Bridgewater

LYNCHBURG, VA - The Lynchburg College women's tennis team was defeated Monday afternoon by Bridgewater College 6-3 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action.

Freshman Erika Hadland earned a 6-1, 7-6 (8-4) win at #1 singles for the Hornets. Lilli Altenburg lost a hard-fought 7-6 (8-3), 6-4 decision at #5 singles and Valeria Erostegui won five games at #2 while Sarah Wyly captured four at #3.

Lynchburg (8-7/2-3 ODAC) hosts Hollins University Friday at 3:30 p.m.
