Lynchburg, Va. -- The Lynchburg College women's tennis team saw its seven-match win streak come to an end Sunday afternoon with a 5-2 loss to Old Dominion Athletic Conference rival Roanoke at the Crosswhite Athletic Club.

Sophomore Christina Harris (Falls Church, Va.) was in on both of LC's points, winning 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and partnering with junior Sarah Wyly (Leesburg, Va.) for an 8-5 victory at No. 1 doubles.

Two matches weren't finished after the Maroons earned the five points necessary for the dual win.

Lynchburg (10-4, 6-1) will return to league action Saturday, April 21 at home at 1 p.m. against Shenandoah.
