Lexington, Va. -- University of Lynchburg's women's tennis team couldn't get past defending Old Dominion Athletic Conference champ and 22nd-ranked Washington and Lee Tuesday, falling 5-0 on the road.
W&L swept through doubles play as Lynchburg managed just four games total. Junior Christina Harris (Falls Church, Va.) and sophomore Caroline Guill (Louisa, Va.) managed an 8-2 defeat at No. 1, while senior Reagan Coon (Churchville, Va.) and freshman Alissa Anderson (Norfolk, Va.) played to the same result at No. 3.
The Generals won quick decisions at Nos. 4 and 5 in singles play to seal the match.
Lynchburg (9-2, 4-1 ODAC) will continue ODAC play Friday, April 5 at home against Virginia Wesleyan. First serve is set for 3:30 p.m.
