Lynchburg, Va. -- University of Lynchburg's women's tennis team earned its fourth-straight 9-0 victory Saturday, cruising by Old Dominion Athletic Conference rival Roanoke to remain unbeaten in 2021.
The Hornets (5-0, 3-0 ODAC) haven't lost a set in the month of March.
Lynchburg leapt out to a 3-0 lead after doubles play as all three flights won, 8-2.
Moving into singles, senior Caroline Guill and graduate student Christina Harris won quickly, 6-0, 6-0, at the sixth and first flights, respectively.
Senior Ellen Druebbisch added a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 5, and sophomore Elizabeth Teefey, sophomore Lauren Pascadlo, and junior Alissa Anderson capped the match off with straight-set victories as well.
Lynchburg will put its unblemished record on the line in a non-conference match Thursday, March 25 at home versus Southern Virginia.
