Lynchburg, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg women's tennis team downed Guilford Saturday afternoon. 

The conference teams played to clinch as the Hornets won 7-0.

Elizabeth Teefey and Grace Teefey won 8-3 at the top-doubles flight, and Alexa Hardesty and Lara Karrass won 8-3 at No. 2. 

Elizabeth Teefey continued her success at the first-singles flight only losing two games. 

Ashley Hair dropped her first set at No. 2 but bounced back with a 7-6 (1) win in the second and a 10-4 win in a tiebreak-third. 

Karrass beat her opponent 6-1, 6-1 at the third flight to seal Lynchburg's victory. 

Hair and Reese McAtee won by default at the third-doubles flight, and Jordan Ottaviano won by the same result at the sixth-singles flight.

The Hornets (7-5, 3-3 ODAC) hosts Roanoke at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5.
