Ferrum, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg women's tennis team coasted past Ferrum Tuesday evening.
The Hornets won 9-0 beginning with a sweep in doubles.
All three duos won 8-0 in doubles play. The Hornets continued that high level of domination during singles action.
Elizabeth Teefey swept her opponent at No. 1, and Grace Teefey won 8-0 at the fifth flight. Ashley Hair won 6-1, 6-0 at the second flight, and Lara Karrass won by the same scores at No. 3. After beting her opponent 6-2 in the first set, Alexa Hardesty won 6-0 in the second at No. 4. Jordan Ottaviano won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 6.
Lynchburg (11-5, 6-3 ODAC) celebrates Senior Day against Averett on Tuesday, April 19.
