Lexington, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg men's and women's swim teams competed at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference relays hosted by Washington and Lee Saturday.
The men placed fourth, and the women came in second at the unique, season-opening meet.
The women provided all three of Lynchburg's relay victories beginning with the 3x50 breaststroke. All-conference performer Claire Galloway led off the relay while Sophia Schorr and Caroline Marotta finished out the event.
Lynchburg also won the 3x100 yard 3x100 IM featuring Delaney Kennedy, Regan Leach, and Molly Spano.
Leach and Galloway also were on the 200 medley-winning relay also composed of Savy Borroughs and Lindsey Hair.
The men placed second at the conference championship in 2023, and the women placed third.

The Hornets host their CODE RED meet on Saturday, Oct. 7 at noon at the Liberty Natatorium.
